1964-67 Gas Tank (Fuel) (Stainless Steel) is offered as an upgrade for vehicles from 1964 through 1967. Ausleys recommends a stainless gas tank when a car will be sitting for long periods of time.

  • Ethanol fuel can deteriorate rubber hoses and can eat up a conventional tank over time.
  • If using only non-ethanol fuel, a regular tank is an acceptable option.
We at Ausleys strongly suggest you upgrade to a stainless gas tank when your car is sitting for long periods of time. Using ethanol will deterioate rubber hoses and eat up the tank over a period of time. If using only non ethanol fuel, then a regular tank will do the job.
